Patricia d’Oreye is an author specialised in architecture and history of war photography (Robert Capa, A View Ahead, written in collaboration with the ICP, International Centre of Photography New York / Magnum Photos, Paris).

 

Particularly interested in human rights, she has directed realistic short animation films on current events and human rights, especially children’s rights, with a specific emphasis on international child abduction and violence against children, women’s rights and the elimination of violence against women as its main themes – rape and conjugal homicide.

 

Dealing with historical photography professionally, she put together a collection of vintage black and white and colour prints by prominent war correspondents depicting some key figures in history and internationally celebrated artists at work.
